  In 2019 representatives of the NCOBRA Youth Commission sent a small delegation to the 36th Annual Gathering of Nations Pow Wow in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The delegation attended the Gathering of Nations events, and also participated in a cultural exchange with Native American youth (from various tribes and nations) and La Plazita Institute representatives at the La Plazita facilities in Albuquerque. Each delegation had a chance to share information about their culture and was able to learn about the other's history heritage and culture. Delegations are now working toward furthering relations, and ultimately engaging in trade and commerce or doing business with one another. The cultural exchange was also supported by the Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated, the West Dayton Youth Task Force, and the Republic of New Africa.
